It also develops brownfield land in the Midlands, the North West of England and Yorkshire.

Our Housebuilding division delivers high quality homes aimed at local owner occupiers. It develops private and affordable homes on land owned or controlled by the Group, located in outer London and the Home Counties. It operates under the Countryside and Millgate brands.

Our mixed-tenure model

Our business has two differentiated divisions and a clear strategy for growth over the medium
term.

Our lower capital Partnerships division is aligned to Government policy, delivering mixed-tenure homes through estate regeneration and developing brownfield land. The opportunities for this division are significant and will drive our future growth. In Housebuilding, we combine our placemaking expertise with an industry-leading strategic land bank, embedding stronger margins and cash generation. We remain the UK’s only major housebuilder for which private for sale homes comprise less than half of total completions. This allows us to develop sites more quickly, providing much-needed high quality homes, and creates a sense of place much earlier in a development.
